Work only during School Hours
- Serve the student community only during school hours. Unlike a hospital nurse, who literally
works 24X7, including several night shifts a week, you will work normally between 8:00 AM and
3:30 PM Monday-Friday. Weekends will remain off for you! You will be granted holidays like
your students.
- During times when there are no children under your medical care in the Nurse Room at your
high school, you are free to perform any administrative responsibilities assigned to you, conduct
research, or study for certifications for which you might have enrolled.
- School timings are modified during adverse weather conditions, natural calamities, or owing to
special circumstances. You will be notified by your school administrator well in advance so that
you can plan your day. Weekends are yours to keep!
