Pick the Geographical Region in the United States where you want to work
- Work in your favorite U.S. city! There is a 30% shortage of school nurses in the U.S., which
provides you with an unparalleled opportunity to work anywhere in the United States. Do not
like snow, ice and cold temperatures? Work in the southeast or southwest United States. Better
still, work in California! You can also choose between a high school in a large cosmopolitan city
like Boston, Atlanta or Seattle, or a quiet and serene town such as Bloomington, College Park, or
Mobile.
- Many regions across the United States are known for their ethnic minorities. If you wish to be
surrounded by people from your home country, you can exercise that option too. Some
examples include the Middle East community in Michigan, the Indian community in New Jersey,
and the Hispanic community in Texas. If you have relatives already settled in the United States,
you can also choose to live close to them by working as a school nurse in the same city.

licensure involved, you might have to work first in a state where your licence has been issued
