In an era where many college applicants achieve super high grades on the academic front, and impressive test scores on the SAT, GRE, and the GMAT, essays and SOPs tend to play a pivotal role in the overall admissions decision-making process. Once you make the cut and are shortlisted for admission consideration, your essays, statements of purpose, and letters of recommendation will be reviewed carefully by admissions officers, which will eventually determine if you will be rewarded a golden ticket!
The bouquet of essay topics at your target university can offer you multiple choices. We will help you pick the topic which will make the maximum impact on admissions officers after aligning it with your profile and background.
Once we have mutually agreed on which topics to focus, the founder will discuss them with you over a Zoom call, in-person in our office, or on WhatsApp speaker. Your family members are welcome to participate during mentoring sessions. We will explain precisely how to go about writing your essays, what points to emphasize, and most importantly, what points NOT to focus on. Instead of collectively discussing all the essays in one go, we will discuss with you one essay at a time to preserve clarity. A typical Zoom brainstorming session can include three or four essay prompts. We will then encourage you to review the 100 essay, statement, and LOR writing samples, which we will share with you post enrollment. These essays and other admissions collateral have been developed by our own enrolled applicants, and are shared with you only after they graduate, with their permission.
Next to your academic grades and test scores, your essays and letters of recommendation serve as the most critical determining factors. Extra-curricular activities and community outreach now play an ancillary role since this data is not quantifiable.
